What are the benefits of boot camp style training?
Aside from the other things that have already been mentioned above, there are other benefits that are key to successfully getting into shape and following through. The workouts are kept lively and therefore the risk of boredom from repetition is limited. This is perfect because you are more likely to stick with the program and see great results. Most people get bored within a week and therefore leave other programs that they set out for themselves because they don’t see results (little do they know that positive changes take some time and therefore they fall into a fallacy that whatever they are doing must not be working). Time can otherwise drag as you are running on treadmill or using an elliptical. Also, since you are doing it with a group, a sense of competition comes over you and you are therefore more likely to push yourself more. Before you know it, you will notice that the hour is up and you will feel great!
It also build confidence because once you complete each session, you will feel tired, sweaty, and energized (not all bad things; you feel energized because of the hormones that are released in your body).
